And thatās a wrap on the 2024 NASPGHAN Junior Faculty Conference! With the support of Fresenius Kabi and the passion of the senior faculty, the JFC has been a game-changer for rising stars of pedi GI! Thanks to Danny Mallon, MD, MSPHEd Rina Sanghavi,MD,MBA Kimberley Chien for organizing!


Fall is the season for conferences! Yesterday, the Boston Children's GI Division held an exciting all-day research retreat. With the encouragement of division/ fellowship leaders and the amazing support of faculty to cover the hospital, all GI fellows were invited to attend!


Another fun day for our Boston Children's GI fellows! Thanks to our friends at Brigham and Women's Hospital GI, 11 of our fellows participated in the annual BWH endoscopy course! Next stop- the highly anticipated NASPGHAN endoscopy sessions for fellows at the annual meeting in November!



The 2024 Boston Children's Childrenās GI Fellows Olympics Team winner for the 2nd year in a row isā¦Happy Golytely! We had so much fun in this #MedEd event of relay advanced endoscopic simulation skills, near-peer (blind folded) teaching and boards review! Until next year!


Happy Holidays from the Boston Children's 1st Year GI Fellows! I just got this amazing family photoshoot of 5 out of the 6 first year fellows (just missing Pamela Chen) and just had to share! Happy Holidays to our @naspghan friends from the entire BCH GI Fellowship Family!


Had fun facilitating Boston Children's GI fellow alum/ current UCSF attending Anne Lyonās Hepatology Sim course for the @mghfc GI fellows! Since creating this at BCH, weāve run it at 4 fellowships! Thanks for BCH liver Tx fellow alum Kayla Hartjes for the partnership 2 years now!



It was so exciting to see our multitalented friend and NASPGHAN co-councilor Peter L. Lu, MD, MS as the Boston Children's motility visiting professor today! His state-of-the-art talk on neurostimulation was not to be missed!




Happy GI/ Advanced Fellowship Graduation Day! Thank you to fellowship alum and Stanford University faculty Jennifer Woo Baidal for being our visiting professor. Congrats to our graduates and teaching/ mentor faculty of the year awardees Athos Bousvaros and Allison Wu!


Today we welcomed our 5 new 1st GI fellows and 5 advanced program trainees to the Boston Children's GI division! The fun continues tomorrow with day 1 of 3 of our GI fellows orientation!!
