So incredibly proud of my youngest brother, Michael Mauro, PhD, who defended his dissertation yesterday. Couldn’t be happier to welcome him to the Dr. Mauro club!

Running the SIBDS@Columbia summer pipeline program with Kiros Berhane is one of the highlights of my year. I was incredibly lucky to spend the last six weeks teaching these incredibly bright and motivated students! Also great to be back in the classroom after parental leave!
