Hats off to Trafnidiaeth Cymru Trenau Transport for Wales Rail customer service this evening. My issue raised via a WhatsApp message was resolved in eight minutes.

The sun is shining at an unusually quiet Milton Keynes station where the ticket barriers are unstaffed today and my train is leaving from the wrong platform! Off to the West Midlands to meet clergy colleagues ahead of new appointments in the coming months.

Around 500 years’ worth of my family are buried in the churchyards of these rural churches. Beautiful places and very friendly people, in a slightly off the beaten track part of the world. Praying that someone might hear God’s call to serve them in this very supportive Diocese.

My last week working full-time for the Bishop. Next week will be a transition week, today, meanwhile, I’m off to Lichfield for the quarterly staff meeting. I’m continuing as Vicar-General in a part-time capacity thereafter, alongside full time parish ministry. #OswestryFamily

Good news on clergy pensions.

The Bishop of Oswestry had the privilege of celebrating the National Pilgrimage Mass at The Shrine of OLW today. Excellent turnout, and probably the youngest average age I can recall, lots of children, families and adults 18-40s, and ethnically diverse too, and from all over the UK.

Are any London Anglo-Catholic churches keeping the Sacred Heart on Friday 27th June does anyone know?
