Got to see Sam Amidon last weekend and now very much enjoying his new album Salt River. Easing the storms of January tidal.com/album/40890589…

Delighted to say I passed my viva this morning 🥳 huge thanks to my two examiners, Philip Lawton and Richard Waldron. And of course a special shout out to the best supervisor I could ask for, Cian O'Callaghan. Thank you also to everyone at TCD Geography

Congratulations to Alexia O'Brien and delighted to share this news. She did an excellent job seeing this thesis through among many obstacles and engaging with the examiners yesterday. The sun was out, coffee and jelly beans were had - a good day.

This organising work by CATU Ireland is not just about housing, it also counters the growth of anti-migrant sentiment and the far-right. So many social problems are due to state abandonment and they need to be countered by universal demands for public services, including housing.

These are the final seconds we have from Paul. His phone has been taken, and his passport. We urgently need Minister for Foreign Affairs Simon Harris TD to intervene, demand he is freed, his passport & phone returned and the protesters are allowed to peacefully #MarchToGaza

Vacancy isn’t just empty space, it’s a money-making machine. I am breaking down how landlord power, state policy & Greece’s obsession with family ownership turns vacancy into a lucrative business. For the RadicalHousingJournal @radicalhousing.bsky.social

This is an utterly appalling admission of failure by James Browne TD Govt have the power to take emergency action to tackle homelessness That they choose not to take action is the reason why so many children are in emergency accommodation They are not bystanders in this crisis
