Young filmmakers have joined us today to introduce a selection of their short films produced via the BFI Film Academy and shmu 👏🏻👏🏻

The Bayview, winner of 2022's Glasgow Short Film Festival is introduced by Susie Seui - the documentary's focal subject. Filmed in Macduff, just across the bay from Banff Castle, we're delighted to screen it in the area for the first time!

Time for Ride The Wave documentary JUST as the sun comes out Ride the Wave Documentary 🌊 ☀️ A beautiful story of a young Scottish surfer as he attempts to ride one of the biggest cold water waves in the world at Mullaghmore, Ireland.

We are so privileged to have personal introductions to our Local Hero screenings from Peter Riegert (Mac) and Lord Puttnam (producer) - both sharing fond memories of making the film and the enduring power of cinema 💕👏🏻 It's been a fantastic two days in Banff, next stop Portsoy!
