In recognition of Independence Day, City offices will be closed on Friday, July 4. Residents having Friday, July 4, as their collection day should put their garbage out by 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 3.

On July 7, the City's contractor, Boulder Contracting, will begin reconstruction on part of the Prairie Lakes Trail system. The western part of the trail around South Prairie Lake will be closed. This work is anticipated to take four to six weeks, weather dependent.

OnJuly 21, the contractor will begin reconstruction of the alley from East 10th Street to East 11th Street between State Street and Bluff Street. An alley closure will be required. The alley closure will be in effect for three (3) to four (4) weeks, depending on the weather.
