On Tuesday, Mounds View voters elected Zach Lindstrom as Mayor and selected four members to the Mounds View Public School Board. Voters rejected the 1.5% local sales tax that would have been used to fund half of the Mounds View Community Center project.

Mayor-elect Zach Lindstrom is a current member of the city council and will be sworn in on Nov. 13. Lindstrom will replace Mayor Al Hull, who passed away in May. Acting Mayor Gary Meehlhause will step down from his current role and continue to serve as a council member.
