There has been a water service disruption as a contractor hit a water line. Crews are on site to repair now for emergency repairs to restore service in the Highlands of Heath/Hubbard/FM 740/Smirl area as quickly as possible.

Water Alert | Falcon Point-The contractor working on replacing inoperable fire hydrants has damaged a fire hydrant. Water will be turned off NOW to complete the repair. The ETA for completion of work is 3 hours. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The City received a positive result for West Nile virus in a trap located between Bison Meadow Lane and Horizon Road, northwest of FM-549. Mosquito spraying will occur as soon as possible. An update of the timing and a map of the area to be sprayed will be posted once confirmed.

After a positive West Nile virus result was detected in the City of Heath, mosquito spraying is scheduled to begin at 9:00 P.M. on July 24th, 2025. The spraying will cover a 1-mile radius surrounding trap #3, as indicated on the map.
