DelDOT announced today that, due to the early arrival of cold temperatures, the Rehoboth Avenue repaving project has been paused until early spring. While this delay is disappointing, it is necessary to ensure a high-quality finished product.

Traffic Alert: DelDOT crews will be brining roads today and tomorrow as snow, sleet, and freezing rain are all expected beginning Wednesday night into Thursday. Please give DelDOT crews plenty of space as they work for their safety and yours!

Tomorrow, March 4, City of Rehoboth Beach water customers located north of the IHOP on Coastal Highway may notice a slightly lower water pressure or discolored water while contractors replace a water valve. Water service will be maintained while this work is occurring.

Spring pruning will take place Monday, April 7 to Thursday, April 10 throughout the city. Pruning will take place on the following streets and avenues: Third, Fourth, Park, Kent, 5th, Sussex, Cookman, Dover and Rehoboth

Here's a reason to smile, twice a week trash collection begins this week and continues through the end of October! Southside pickup will occur Monday and Thursday, while Northside will take place Tuesdays and Fridays.

City offices will be closed April 18 in observation of Good Friday, scheduled trash pickup will not be affected.

The Rehoboth Beach Farmers Market starts tomorrow, May 6 at Grove Park and will run every Tuesday until November.

Heads up, beach/boardwalk access at Baltimore Avenue will be unavailable May 6-9 as a new sidewalk is constructed as part of the beach patrol/comfort station project. The north sidewalk will reopen May 10.

In observation of Memorial Day, city offices will be closed Monday, May 26. Trash pickup will not be affected.
