Supported by Huddersf'd Civic Soc - a foolow on from our conference with CycleKirklees on 1st December.

Deputation on Road Safety at Overview Scrutiny Kirklees Council. Many people feel unable to cycle/walk - put off by speeding and dangerous parking. Where are the pro-active strategies? Communities do embrace/co-design low traffic neighbourhoods? traffic calming? linked-up routes

CycleKirklees is writing to The Transpennine Route Upgrade Kirklees Council CityConnect about alternative routes. Whilst we recognise construction work is taking place these are transport routes not just leisure options. Where are the alternative routes?

We got our extension! We'll soon be moving to another Temporary Contemporary unit in #Huddersfield Piazza Centre HD, Unit 3 (opposite the library, next to the West Yorkshire Print Workshop) where we can stay until December! We'll open our doors there on Friday 17th March! Thank you Kirklees Council 🙏🏼🧡

Provide a safe alternative to Network Rail’s long term greenway closures of Birkby Bradley and Calder Valley Greenways in Kirklees - Sign the Petition! chng.it/GvfTM626 via Change.org UK

Since we've kindly been granted an extension to our Temporary Contemporary unit in #Huddersfield Piazza Centre HD, we're looking for more volunteers to help us! If you'd like to get involved, drop us a line to [email protected] #textiles #circulareconomy #socialenterprise #community

Kirklees Council can you share diversion details for the Birkby Bradley Greenway that Network Rail say is your responsibility remembering that that it’s one of very few safe cycling routes in the whole of Kirklees.

Really looking forward to this year’s Huddersf'd Civic Soc / University of Huddersfield lecture on Retrofit. A jaw-dropper from Brexiter Steve Baker on BBC Radio 4’s PM just now: “What an extraordinary opportunity for Northern Ireland: dual access to both markets”. Er, that “extraordinary opportunity” was available to the entire UK before Brexit
