On worm aging, pro-longevity ROS signaling, massive changes in gene expression controlled (actually controlled) by ROS modulation of RAS signaling, and possibly the first (?) gene expression signature for mutant longevity (albeit paradoxical). pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36449615/

What I like particularly about this piece of work is how massively we can affect gene expression (half of the genome) with simple interventions, and that the patterns are interpretable (rather than being only capable of allowing for some fishing). Check it out.

I also like of course that it confirms our previous work that suggest that ROS act directly on pro-longevity processes rather than stimulating a form of hormesis.

Last, but maybe not least (hard to tell), we found a surprising gene expression signature to which a majority of classical long-lived mutants conform, including daf-2, eat-2, glp-1, rsks-1 and nuo-6: their pattern of gene expression is mostly the opposite of the produced by PQ!

Super excited to share our new preprint where we joined forces with the @partchlab Ward Lab Claire BENARD Diego Golombek labs to study the role of circadian clock homologs genes lin-42/PER and kin-20/CK1e in C. elegans! 🌓🕘biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
