This is absolutely one of the reasons for the ‘CPR if resources allow’ in our new ten second triage tool. Preventable causes of death such as compression / crush / traumatic asphyxia eg at hillsborough which could be amenable to CPR if performed rapidly (and safe to do so)

Awesome to see the Welsh fronting all the important discussions around major incidents #walesprepared First class line-up. The honesty and openness of the discussions is refreshing, as well as the willingness to change and learn. Lots the capital can learn from these events.

TST is for medical responders as well in the early stages of an incident. All responders to use the same tool and speak the same language! Obviously none of this replaces intuitive triage for senior clinicians at any stage.
