Updates on NV-TF1: The number of missing reported in Kerr County has dropped to 3. NV-TF1 continues to remain active, searching hard-to-reach areas by boat and with help from 6 more K9 teams. No return date has been set.

The Southwest Las #Vegas Valley community came out to help Clark County FD celebrate the opening of fire station #39. Kids got a look at the fire equipment, breakfast was served and Fire Chief Billy Samuels and Cmsr. Justin Jones took turns in a dunk tank! Fun day for all!

The newest Clark County FD station is open! There was a hose cutting for CCFD Station #39. It’s located near Blue Diamond and Rainbow the SW Las #Vegas Valley. The station will have one engine and one rescue unit and will respond to 2,000-3,000 calls for service per year.

Recognizing Nevada Task Force 1 for their amazing work. Commissioners honored the rescue team that deployed to Texas following devastating floods in July. Clark County FD is the sponsoring agency for NV-TF1 and is comprised of members from numerous Southern Nevada agencies.

At 11:15am Sept. 2, Clark County FD responded to a 3-alarm fire near Tropicana & Maryland.   ➡️ 32 apartments impacted ➡️ 40 residents displaced ➡️ 5 victims to Sunrise Hospital ➡️ 3 treated/released on scene ➡️ 1 firefighter to UMC for heat exhaustion   Cause under investigation.
