Happy to finally get my new toy for the shop. We got new equipment coming very soon so it will get a lot of use in the next few weeks.

A 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 Pete Dye design. The overhanging tree on No. 6 tee is back THE PLAYERS. The story behind replanting this 500,000(!) pound tree is remarkable.

Haven’t done one of these in a long time. A few years back could whip them through one after another. This might’ve taken 30 mins to remember all the steps in the correct order

One of the problems we had when I first arrived was the equipment technicians didn’t have all the proper tools or couldn’t find the tools. I think we spent around 550$ for each one to get them basic tools and a nice little tool cabinet to store everything in.

Grass is growing like a wild fire now in south Florida. Mother Nature has been good to us the past few weeks. Was a long week of grinding reels, increasing mows and playing with the granite table. Ready for summer to be able to play more with our cutting units and get more out.

Great meeting today learning about fuel stabilizers and different products our local fuel distributors have. Always a good day to learn something new.

Finally getting our fairway reels back in shape. Adding relief back in, grinding then getting them on the granite. Has made for a very long day but the final product is worth it

Past few weeks we’ve been bringing a lot of new technology into the shop and on the course. We are adding several new battery operated tools to our fleet with the addition of the Ego backpack blowers and edgersThis week we have been demoing this autonomous mower. Fun times

Funky wall size, strange outlet locations and trying to put large panels up I know it’s not perfect but mechanics are only wizards some of the time. All of our chargers are up tools are unboxed and in their locations ready to see how good these are

It’s not always sunshine and rainbows. Accidents do happen as much as we try to prevent them. Only thing that was hurt was ego and pride. All machines survived and back in use. Last picture was a chunk of concrete found on a green after topdressing. Thankfully no mower found it

Very busy week in the shop. Sand is flying, holes are getting poked again and trying to get all of our reels back in shape. 5 sets for triplex and working through our fairways right now. 1st half of our lease has arrived and have 3 more machines to go through.

Noticed the tractor hitch had a sag to it never seen one do this, even growing up on a farm my whole life. Just another day on a golf course. We will get it straightened out and reinforced in the morning.
