Another big problem for me is definitional drift: terms like "secure" and "strong" just lack precise operational definitions. Over time, different regions and inspectors will likely develop varying interpretations.

The first publication from the INTEND study is now available mentalhealth.bmj.com/content/28/1/e… All 42 ICBs in England, covering 295 places, were asked about provisions they had in place for the diagnostic & treatment of #Tourettes Only 12 have a full pathway in place majority in London!

The study concluded that current service provision does not meet the needs of CYP in England. Without improvements, CYP are at increased risk of poorer long-term outcomes. The provisions are inconsistent & underfunded which limits HCP ability to support CYP with tics effectively.
