What links Shakespeare with Clayton Hall? Sir John Byron—Little Sir John with the Great Beard— once owned and lived there and was a favourite at Elizabeth I’s court. He’s thought to have inspired Lord Berowne (or Biron) in Love’s Labour’s Lost. šŸ”Visit claytonhall.org
