Don't think I've ever been so close to tears as I was at surgery today. Feeling angry at govt welfare reforms that so hurt very ill people.

For the third time in two weeks, Starmer has u-turned on major policy. His authority is collapsing. This creates a multi-billion-pound black hole that can only mean higher taxes or more borrowing. We offered to help if he reformed welfare. He refused. This has to stop.

Just weeks after getting elected, a Reform councillor in South Wales tried to defect to the Labour Party 😳 Reform won’t bring an end to Labour rule in Wales, they’re too busy trying to join them! 🥀 nation.cymru/news/reform-by…

If anything good came out of yesterday’s shenanigans in Parliament, it’s that the public can now finally see as clear as day just how devoid of any morals Keir Starmer is.

Nigel Farage is yesterday's man - utterly unequal to the challenges the country faces. A future government led by him would be a wasted opportunity, and fail as swiftly and as miserably as Starmer's. The sooner that the British right begins working to mitigate this, the better.

Starmer all but confirms tax thresholds will be frozen further, dragging more and more people into higher and higher tax bands. Brutal PMQs from Badenoch, laying a trap for Starmer. He could answer on Income Tax, VAT, and NI - but can't on thresholds.

I give Reform a fair showing. I’m a sympathetic to many of their goals. I’m sometimes, wrongly, accused of being a mouthpiece for Farage by lefties. But holding politicians to account for things they have said and done is my job. I stand by the article.

Dead cat is my guess. Take the whip off them before summer and probably reinstate when Parliament returns in autumn. A faux way of trying to show he’s got control (even though we all know he hasn’t)

Keir Starmer won’t rule out raiding people’s pensions to fill his government’s black hole. Meanwhile, his own public sector pension is legally protected. Once again, it’s hardworking families doing the right thing who’ll pay for his economic mistakes.
