The Union Flag has been raised at County Hall this morning to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day. Armed Forces Champion, Cllr Peter Strong and Council Leader, Cllr Mary Ann Brocklesby spoke at the VE Day ceremony, which was also attended by Laura Anne Jones MS.

I don’t get all the people mocking Rachel Reeves for crying. Being an MP is a bloody hard job, and it’s important to remember politicians are humans too 👍🏼

Last night I took on some weeding projects (took me 4 hours) around the village and was able to finish it off with a beer in the reopened Portskewett Inn and catch up with some residents 🧹 🍻
