Great to get out with David Williams today and see work being finished on the A34 Stone Road. Crews have completed these £1.4 million works on time despite some terrible weather, and it’s good to see residents already benefitting from smoother journeys.

On the schools front, Cllr Jonathan Price has seen the move of St Leonard's Primary School in Stafford to a new site at the former Kingston Centre, as well as the opening of a new primary school in Lichfield

More new schools are set to open next September - two in Tamworth, one in Stafford and another in Burton. Cllr Jonathan Price says £151m is being invested to deliver around 5,500 additional school places over the next five years

Great to be at the opening of St Leonard’s Primary School in Stafford. Their new school building is looking fantastic! With so many great features like a biomass boiler, heat pumps, woodland walk and bird and bat boxes, it truly is an eco-friendly school!
