We are delighted to share that we are now a RRSA Bronze: Rights Committed School. We have a fantastic pupil team of Rights Ambassadors in our school that will support our ongoing journey towards Silver. #pupilvoice Children's Right's SBC Education

P4/5 have been inspired by the outdoors to write creatively. Time and space in nature has allowed the children to connect meaningfully with the world around them. We love their descriptive sentences. 😊SBC Education

A great Declaration Night for the Braw Lad and Lass and their Attendants. Congratulations to Cameron and Hannah. Our children represented our school so well, as did all the other primary school dancers in our Gala cluster. Braw Lads Gathering SBC Education

P2/3 have been outdoors creating art in the style of Kandinsky. They have also been learning to divide into equal groups using natural concrete materials & finally, creating ‘rabbit houses' with natural materials based on the book, 'Little Rabbit's Loose Tooth'. SBC Education

P5/6 have been outdoors creating art in the style of Andy Goldsworthy. They even had P1s keen to join in and lend a hand! #outdoorlearning SBC Education

Our P7 ‘Class of 25’ have arrived safely for the start of their residential. We are sure they will all have a great time! SBC Education Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) CIC

Lovely to welcome so many families to our ELC and P1 Stay and Play session yesterday afternoon. The children always love having you in to share in their learning. SBC Education SBCEarlyYears

As celebrations for VE Day take place around the country we wanted to share this pupil’s thoughts on how we should remember & recognise the sacrifices that were made. He is very proud of his writing - we are too but we are also proud of his values and kindness. ❤️ SBC Education

P2/3 were playing games of Hopscotch and Five Stones (Jacks) this week. These are games children would have played during and at the end of WW2. #VEDay SBC Education

Come along and support our wonderful school next Saturday 24th May as we host a Spring Coffee Morning. You can enjoy a cuppa and a sweet treat as well as the Tombola and Cake and Candy stalls etc. See you there! SBC Education

Countryside Day for our P5 children who took part in a range of learning opportunities. “It was a fun day!” Thanks to all who supported this event and to our parent helper. SBC Education
