Losers tend to make excuses. The umps were bad, the coach didn’t play me, my teammates suck. Winners give thanks, My coach believed in me, I trusted my teammates, my parents have been supportive. Let’s make a habit of giving thanks before we make excuses, no matter win or lose

I say this every year and usually get the “you don’t have to play them all” feedback. But…the Fall Play Date in D3 (21 innings & only one day) is the most anti “student athlete experience” or “athlete welfare” rule we have.
