With 2027's verbally committing to programs, returning players...last year’s success was great but each season is a fresh start. New players are coming in with drive and something to prove, just like you were. Stay sharp and humble and remember every year is a chance to earn your

Kicking off the recruiting Q&A series 🎓⚽️ Last week I asked for your biggest questions about college soccer recruiting. Over the next few days, I’m answering them one by one. Here’s the first: “When should I start the recruiting process?” #collegesoccer #srusa

Summer workouts might not be flashy and shouldn't be but they’re where you quietly level up as a player. Stay consistent, stay focused and show up ready when the season comes around 💪

Seeing a lot of players taking the right steps and actions necessary to play college soccer yet it’s not enough. Outside help whether it be a recruiting agency, club recruiting coordinator, former college coach or another means is increasingly needed. ⚽️🤝

Seeing a growing trend where NCAA Division I programs are increasingly looking to D2, D3, and NAIA schools as places to develop their recruits who might not quite be ready. It’s like an extension of their program, similar to how junior colleges have been used in the past.

I can’t blame prospective student athletes for having the D1 or bust mentality. I remember playing USL 2 (formerly PDL) for a couple summers and hearing what my D1 team mates got in terms of clothing, equipment, resources they had access to etc If PSA’s have knowledge of this,

Rhys Cannella LOL 🤣 what? No, they won’t and it’s not “true.” I can speak accurately and honestly for Southeast US. Trying to generalize an entire country is insanity… Coaches care about 1 thing in the context of this discussion (2 leagues), talent. That’s it.

Stephen Chaconas Rhys Cannella Agreed! Tons of kids choose GA over ECNL, or ECNL over MLS Next. That’s a silly comment. And what is the league have to do about development anyway? I know players, that could play in all of those mentioned leagues, that choose not to.

There are only 27 D1 programs attending the #GirlsAcademy finals which start tomorrow which is a shame given the quality of teams. EVERY GA event had year over year declines & is definitely something that have to address next season especially with all the new club additions.

Recruits, I’ve seen this countless times so please don’t sleep on summer workouts. If you show up out of shape on Day 1, it’s hard to recover. First impressions matter. The ones who come in fit, sharp, and ready to compete are the ones who stick. Don Williams Andre Luciano

🚨Breaking News - 298 D1 Colleges with WSOC programs have opted into the #NCAA Settlement for this coming season (and 52 have not). These programs will have 28 player roster limits but some may have used the DSA to go over. Here are the WSOC that have opted in. H/T NIL 𝘯𝘰𝘵 NLI

Spoke to a parent who has two children committed to a D1 and D2 in SoCal. Kids have lived 300 miles from home throughout high school. They play MLS Next and ECNL girls. This is the level of sacrifice (though when I said that they didn't feel it was a sacrifice) it takes to play
