When the world starts to feel heavy, I am thankful for the gift that is my 7 year old boy. He is my blessing that reminds me to not be judgmental, to play, to find happiness in the little things. God has used him as a reminder to keep it simple and to be love every day.

For as juicy and succulent as Popeyes chicken is, their biscuits are the exact opposite. When my son gets to his mouthy junior high age, instead of yelling, I’ll buy him a couple of those arid ass biscuits and force him to eat them without any form of hydration for an hour 😂.

Was watching the nba finals yesterday and my boy was building this rocket ship. The final pieces were giving him trouble. He asked for help, I told him figure it out. He was frustrated, made weird noises, but completed the task on his own. Let your kids do difficult things.
