School has 3 kids on XC team. One kid (freshman from said school) has parents take him to 1st invite, runs FS; rest of team doesn’t run. Parents get text saying admin wants to cancel XC; parents remove kid,transfer. Said school refuses to sign transfer and kid loses XC season.

Cross country … Where coaches can communicate with eachother about workouts, training, rest, etc without feeling threatened. I appreciate the ones that have been there for me, and I appreciate the ones that come to me, as well. 🙏🏼

I doubt myself I question my methods I worry about my decisions But I still lead with confidence, inspire my athletes, and achieve team goals. Coaching isn't about being fearless. It's about pushing through the fear.

Shadow Hills boys and girls cross country competed today at CIF for the 10th straight year. Girls finish 5th in their heat and head to CIF Finals for the 3rd straight season.
