Something that I still struggle with as a coach, is looking at the outcome as opposed to the intention. This is not where the ball is intended to go - however the play itself has answers and our guys went to what is there. Does it matter how it happens? Let your players play.

We try and build most of our pass progressions in a way that makes it easy for the QB to go through. This throw is number 3 for the QB and he barely has to move is head. Good wide base- calm pocket presence - still head to deliver a quick accurate ball to a guy in space.

Quick clip here focusing on QB feet. We talk about maintaining a balanced base as much as possible. Described as both your feet being positive magnets repelling each other ,but they are also tied. If one moves then the other also has to. (Open to better ways to describe that) 😂

The QB is working an option route here on his number 1 progression. The receiver can break corner so the QB has his shoulder closed- as the play develops - he’s having to reset his feet and close his shoulder as the receiver breaks to the inside.

Screens are awesome. The QB is grabbing laces and not truly meshing here. Our goal is 90% plus and it’s considered a run for us. It’s our way to get the ball into multiple players hands ,but still be efficient. Getting the ball out fast is ideal but accuracy is more important imo

Every play in our offense that has a decision making mechanism has an answer for when things go wrong. Football is extremely imperfect and we prioritize having an “oh crap button”. QB quote “ I couldn’t remember who was supposed to be there but I knew someone was coming”

Going to end 24’ with a smooth rep. We try to keep base wide and strong when possible, with a still head and quiet upper half. 2 hands on the ball within the pocket and a little muscle memory with the shoulder dip. Shoulder closed to target- good extension to make it spin.

Not a big reason to flush the pocket here, trust your reads. There is room to quickly get set. If throwing on the run is a must, then you have to get some sort of rotational force on this ball. Your momentum will carry the ball unless controlled. Even a half step toward the target

I started playing football 4 yrs ago and now I’m ending my HS career as a back to back State champion and earning First Team All-State! I’m very thankful for all the coaches who helped me along the way. 💍💍 I’m also excited to get after it this spring with Anacortes High School Baseball

Elite ball skills and barely scratching the surface of his potential. A+ character. Will be a massive part of our success in 2025

Very fun weekend with All-Stars ⁦CLEATS V CANCER H.S. FOOTBALL ALL-STAR GAME⁩. Thank you so much for the invite. Offense was very close to blowing it wide open! Learning and executing an offense in 3 days isn’t easy but the boys did it. So much fun.⁦Jackson McGill⁩ ⁦Jaylen Emanuel Viars

This is amazing- it’s always exciting when a kid from your program gets recognized and rewarded like this. Congratulations Micah.

I just had a funny memory. Last year my son the water-boy tapped me on the hip and told me to stop calling run plays in between the tackles. The next play we called an outside run and scored. I’m pretty sure it was the highlight to his year. Reminds me that perspective matters.

Having a really great time at Central Washington’s team camp. We always get better here, things like this make it even more awesome. There is not a kid more deserving Ryan Harrington
