St. John’s Prep named Corey Lowe as its new boys hoop coach. A two-time Boston Herald Dream Teamer who helped guide Newton North to back-to-back Div. 1 state titles, Lowe went on to have a great career at BU. He coached at Newton South where he guided a Lions to a top-20 ranking.

I have coached a lot of high level guards in my career. Antonio is the best I’ve had at getting to any spot on the floor he wants, rising above his defender, and knocking down shots. Extremely athletic and a bag full of ways to score the basketball. He translates to every level.
