My all-time favorite quote/scripture for S&C coaching is “You can’t be a prophet in your own town.” Parents/Coaches/Athletes rarely think the coach they have is better than the guy down the street or a state away. Their word means more. No matter the results you’ve built.

If the only tool you have as a coach is yelling louder, you’re not coaching — you’re compensating. Energy matters, but trust comes from knowledge, results, and relationships. Be intense, but the players see through the noise if you don’t have a plan, direction or objective.

Newest Houston Cougars guard Kingston Flemings said he’s gained 15 lbs of muscle since being around Alan Bishop (~ 4 weeks). He also said his biggest challenge at UH so far: “trying to know when I can pass (and) when I can’t really do it.” WATCH: youtu.be/EgNNaS3szcw?si…

The full session. 3 working sets throughout. High intent. Quality movement. Full body strength emphasis. Followed by steady state cardio. Simple and effective. Earn the right to continue to train in the postseason. Kade Anderson #ThePowerHouse | #GeauxTigers 🐅

Crazy world we live in when it comes to S&C: I’m the S&C coach at the largest (population) school in Louisiana and offered 27 FREE, yes FREE speed sessions from Jan-April and avg. 23ish guys a session. But if I would’ve charged, I’d have 100% attendance cause $=results to kids
