What if football players studied film as much as they did "extra work" (I put "extra" meaning pointless)? I bet they would be much better players. And this is coming from a guy paid to have guys do "extra work." My point? Not all work is beneficial.

Let’s talk about this. wtf does he gotta talk to the strength staff about? If the defense is sluggish and tired, it’s more than likely lack of preparation, in-game adjustment fatigue, and/or too much accumulated fatigue from camp.

He shoulda talked to the strength staff when (I'm guessing) he beat the brakes off his team during camp and it took them longer than this week to recover

Cody Hughes Football coaches will practice guys for 70-80 hours, meet for 2x that, and keep guys in the facility from 6 am to 11 pm for 30 days in a row during fall camp to “build toughness” Then still blame the strength coach who they give 2 25 minute blocks a week for burn out &fatigue!😂
