A little late getting to this, but we couldn't have asked for a better outing from Sam in this game! To make his way into the 7th when the most he had thrown in an outing all season was 4 innings was absolutely huge for us. He's made tremendous strides this season on the mound!

After our game on May 8, we were 6-11. Since then we've gone 8-0 and have won 3 straight games by 1 run, the last 2 of which have been walk-offs. The guys have fought through an up-and-down season and now they've made some history as the first HHS baseball team to go to states!

Heritage (Leesburg) Class 4 Baseball Champions!

I don’t even know what to say. Lots of expectations heading into the season. Early on things didn’t go our way and we weren’t a very good team. That’s why we were 6-11 on May 8. Most teams would’ve folded. These guys bought in and ripped off 12 straight wins. So proud of them!

During our 12-game winning streak to finish the season, this guy hit .647 (!!) with an OBP of .714, a SLG % of .912, and an OPS of 1.626! Video game numbers! 22-34 during that time with 12 RBI & 13 runs and ALWAYS plays the RIGHT way! Cooper is the heart and soul of our team!
