I’m so proud of what these girls have accomplished this season at the state level and then going on to compete at the National level and placing is truly something else. Great kids who work hard year round, I wouldn’t trade them for anything!

Crystal is now a 2x National high school powerlifting champion!! She won first place in her weight class, got a WORLD RECORD for her deadlift, and received over all Best Heavyweight Lifter!!! She and her team placed 3rd as well. Proud powerlifting family and we love her so much.

Had a great first meet of the season at the San Marcos Invitational! We are extremely proud of our kids and had 9 lifters compete in their first meet ever. The boys team ended up in 1st place along with several other lifters taking gold or medaling for the team.

Congratulations to these 12 ladies and 4 boys who qualified to compete at the Regional meet. Girls will compete Saturday, March 1st, at Del Valle HS at 8:30am and Boys will compete Friday, March 7th, at Abilene Wylie HS at 9am!

Girls Regional Meet Results: Girls team placed 2nd - Mylei Donahue placed 1st, making her now a 2x Regional Champion and qualifying her for state - Kyia Miller placed 3rd and qualified for state - Olivia Montoya placed 3rd and qualified for state

- Aaliyah Respress placed 2nd, state qualifier and broke the 148lb Region 2 squat record at 430lbs. - Leila Gomez placed 3rd, state qualifier, received the best lightweight squat award and also broke/tied the Region 2 squat record with a 430lb squat (record shared w/ Aaliyah)

97 - Ariza Guerrero placed 5th as a Freshman 148 - Jocelyne Jaimes placed 4th and qualified for state 220 - Elena Guevara placed 2nd and qualified for state

- MJ Geister placed 9th - Marie Donahue placed 8th - Esther Gutierrez placed 9th - Alessandra Zuniga-Jaramillo placed 7th We’re super proud of all of these girls and their hard work! Can’t wait for state in a couple of weeks! But next up is Boys Regionals in Abilene on Friday!
