I know it’s frustrating when kids miss practice. The expectations we all have as coaches is every kid is at every practice on time. But don’t forget to check in on your guys. They sometimes are really going through things and don’t know how to tell you! 🚫 be all 🏈 all the time

After fours years at the D1 level, I forgot how dismissive kids are towards junior college coaches 😬… We gotta change the narrative. Too many kids taking lesser opportunities because of some weird stigma they have towards attending junior college.

To all HS grads starting college workouts this month: Control what you can- your attitude & effort. Bust your ass. Be a student of the game. Don’t get outworked. Most of you didn’t start on varsity as a freshman, same applies now. Be patient. Stay hungry. Enjoy the grind.

The profession of coaching is built on relationships. Relationships with coaches, players, administrators, parents, community, recruits (if you’re lucky to be in that world) and many others. How you treat people today directly correlates to how they treat you tomorrow.
