The difference in schools that succeed vs those that don't in my opinion comes down to this Successful schools - "What is best for our kids" Non-successful schools - "What is best for us"

I'm not sure if there is a correct way to solve this problem, but it's fairly obvious that the current solution is not it.

Illinois high school football doesn't need more playoff qualifiers. It needs a system where every school has an equitable opportunity to qualify for the postseason. It shouldn't be this difficult. Illinois coaches need to figure out district play. It's the only true solution.

I've now read the proposal and more importantly I listened to View From The West and Steve Soucie break it down. While it might not be perfect, it's a far better system than what we currently have in the long run. Thanks to Shell Nation for the extensive work that they've done.

Bring back 1 through 32. Or preferably bring on 1-48.

The fact that Shell Nation is continuing to take input and adjust their plan gives me hope that enough schools will eventually vote for it.
