I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. -John 17:22-23

But about theSon he says “Your throne, OGod,will last forever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;therefore God,your God,has set you above your companions by anointing you with oil of joy.Hebrews 1:8-9

This is love; not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. -1 John 4:10
