“Sequencing is the difference between someone’s arm hurting and not…the reason their arm hurts is the way they’re throwing”🤔 Listen to Eugene talk about arm pain and return to throwing programs🗣️ #the108way

So much is focused on velocity development, but the thing is is you can do pitching development. First picture is in October in the second picture is after three months Stop only training for localized velocity and train to actually have globalized weapons

I love seeing all these videos from these velocity development centers. And then the kids come in here and their throw 8 miles an hour slower than when they’re getting videoed for Twitter. Especially the velocity places that use underweight balls lol

Really proud of this kid! Started wrestling in ninth grade and in his junior year went 43-7 and finished 6th in state! Just an absolutely grinder

Is your player ready to answer this question? Did you make data your master or your servant? Did who you pay for develop him to be a player or did they train him to chase false idols? We will see

Blake Ilitch and Cole Duhaime, elite prep pitchers, are guiding Brother Rice back into the playoffs. Ilitch threw a no-hitter this season, and Duhaime compiled a 16K complete game. They’re not obsessed with their personal numbers — and that attitude is guiding their young team.

Hot take: Before we anoint Skubal as the next once in a generation pitcher, pick one of the arms that comes to mind from past history and tell me if you think they would have come out of the game with 99 pitches? I’ll wait
