The Bravettes competed this weekend at the Jasper High School Invitational. They brought home the hardware with a 1st place finish in AA Pom, 1st in AA jazz, 1st in Ensemble, 3rd in Senior Solo, and 4th in Junior solo.
Thanks to Bob Murray, Jeff Murray and I were sitting with a great view of this exact drive to the basket. How thankful to have witnessed that entire season. Go Sycamores!

Mr. Versatility: Indiana State Football Alum Ryan Roberts was Mr. Versatility for the Sycamores from 2008-11.
Roberts, from West York IL and Hutsonville HS, played TE, DB, WR, LB and QB.
Had a 91-yard TD run and 160 yards rushing in a 17-14 win over Western Illinois in 2009.
Happy Birthday to former Indiana State Football Head Equipment Manager Bob Elson. Longtime equipment room manager for the Sycamores, starting as an assistant in 1975. Indiana State Athletics Hall Of Fame.

Great Bend 2026 TE Ian Premer, who is the best 2026 multiple sport athlete in all of Kansas, has committed to Notre Dame. Premer is a three sport all state athlete and has major division one offers in two sports (football and basketball). He’s also an all state baseball player.

Indiana State Football Alum Robert “Bobby” Turner is in his 30th year as an NFL assistant coach.
He began as the Denver Broncos RB coach in 1995. He is now the San Francisco 49ers RB coach.
