Not sure I understand Alabama A&M being sixth here. Donte Jackson brought in some real talent. Kintavious Dozier was one of several players who joined him from Grambling. Both Koron Davis and Sami Pissis could be very strong portal adds. That’s a better team than sixth best.

This Alabama A&M roster is really good for a SWAC program. Dozier has been a perennial SWAC POTY candidate. Sami Pissis averaged 15.8 PPG at New Hampshire. James Graham was at Maryland at a time. Donte Jackson brings over a ton of talent from a tournament team two years ago.

“Well the main thing is our guys got GRIT. They got some grit man, you know, every time Samford made a run our guys battled back.” - Donte Jackson on what his biggest takeaway was from this exhibition game.

Just wanted to say this game is exactly what college basketball exhibitions should be. Alabama A&M and Samford both really wanted to win this. They still got to test a bunch out. Free stream on YouTube with good commentators and production. Fans in the stands. Everyone wins!
