Was last season Heupel’s best coaching job at Tennessee? The more I see Nico play at UCLA the more impressed I am that Heupel got to the CFP with him as his QB. No matter what UT does this season, that was a bad decision by him & his circle. May have worked out better for UT 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m still sick, BUT, a few things: Aguilar > Nico by a long shot, thank you. Next, the young WRs & Brazzell impressed me & like what I see for the rest of the year. D got punched in the mouth but they battled. Getting 2 interior DL & the 2 starters back at CB will help big time.

As crappy as it is to lose like that, nobody should really downplay the fact that Tennessee has a chance to be really good again. That kid makes that kick 98 times out of 100 probably, he just happened to miss is today. Plenty to clean up, but plenty to be optimistic about.

Today’s offense finally resembled the output Heupel had in 22 with Hendon Hooker. I’m not saying that Nico handcuffed Heupel, but the offense sure looked a lot better and way more explosive than it has in a long time, and against a Kirby Smart defense. Makes you wonder 🤷🏻‍♂️
