To still be so closely involved with football is a blessing 🙏🏾

I have been blessed to work alongside some great coaches and every experience, regardless of the team record, I find some takeaways to build on.

Growth is a choice. You have to choose to do what others won’t. You have to choose to ignore the temptations of others. You have to choose to be disciplined. You have to choose to keep fighting when things get hard. You have to choose you over anyone or anything else.

One day your playing days will be over. If you are blessed to be a coach, make sure you are adding to the game that helped to shape you. Don’t forget what it was like when you used to be that kid.

Blessed to say I can see my growth as a person.

As coaches, understand we are the leaders of a generation and responsible for change in our sport. This generation will grow up in sports believing they can do whatever whenever so long as we allow it. The keys: Respect, Discipline, and Trust in the Process.
