D3 sports recruiting is a nearly 365 day process Many don't realize how hard D3 coaches work to find players - and w/ smaller staffs & budgets than D1's Plus no athletic scholarships which makes it more challenging to show recruits how affordable a D3 education can actually be

Don’t get me wrong there’s good things about having the portal & NIL deals in college hoops, but what so many of these players are going to miss out on is the true, life-long relationships you make with teammates & coaches if you transfer 2-3+ times. Those relationships matter!

Might be an unpopular opinion & yes LOTS of great coaches/programs, but way too many getting ripped off for “names”. Yelling faster after 3 straight TOs in transition, yelling move/cut only works if you’ve actually taught the game. We practicing any true fundamentals these days?

Top 5 things I look for in recruits: -Feel for the game/are you making the RIGHT play -How hard do you play/are you willing to do the dirty work -What type of teammate are you -Response when it’s going poorly -How coachable are you Notice how none of these say how much you score?

As much as I would’ve loved watching some great games & great players this weekend, getting to spend some quality time with these 3 beautiful ladies was even better!
