Re-reading this 15 yrs later considering today’s climate of college athletics was an intentional move to revisit what it used to be about, & to generate inspiration for how I can build a successful program that proudly stands on its values..regardless of circumstance I recommend

No means no, someone who is NOT in the portal is NOT to be contacted / bribed / tricked / used / BSed to..they may be a piece to some coaches game, but my players? Mine are people to me. & I treat them as such,& value them as such I dont play gms w my people,& dont play with me.
