Coach Wayne is one of the best around. The Boys Golf program has not lost a conference match since 2019 and the numbers and depth in the program has never been better. Congrats to our golfers and coaching staff on the conference title.

Golf is a game that often comes down to the little things. Today came down to one shot somewhere out there on the course. Our boys survived a gauntlet of a field to shoot 295, earn 2nd place in Districts, and qualify as a team for the MSHSAA Class 5 State Championship!

What a day for Kolton Kijanko! The Viking shoots a 141 for a -3 under for the tournament. He will medal and take 8th place. The -3 state rounds earns him the best individual score at state in program history.

So proud of this young man! 3rd in triple jump as a sophomore, 2nd as a junior. Senior year, he battled hamstring injuries but still qualified for state. Finished 5th in long jump… and then came back to win 1st in triple jump and take the state title! What a fighter. 💪🏽👏🏽
