My daughter is giving up A-Level Art because she feels she is failing. Her Year 12 portfolio was given a D-. The 2nd painting is a self-portrait. I’m biased but I think they’re brilliant. Who here thinks she could make a living as an artist/illustrator? I’ll pass on comments!❤️

A summary of my thoughts as a bot test: - Far right men are impotent pork lads. - Shagging flags doesn’t compensate for a lack of personality. - Nigel Farage and Rupert Lowe are fascist gnomes. - Refugees are welcome here. - Free Palestine - Trans rights are human rights

What do you think of Reform UK's @DarrenGrimes who tells constituents he can't hold surgeries with them because he's been advised by the police not to do so for "security reasons". The only problem? Police spokesperson says this is entirely untrue. They gave no such advice.

Tomorrow at Pride in London we’ll send a message to the world: in our city you are free to be whoever you want to be, and love whoever you want to love. We must take a stand against those seeking to roll back hard-won rights.

Post Office scandal shows abuse of corporate power. PO execs, Fujitsu, lawyers, accountants made money. Nearly 1,000 postmasters knowingly wrongly prosecuted, 13 suicides, 10,000+ lives ruined, compensation slow/inadequate. Culprits not prosecuted. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Keir Starmer This is not a luxury upgrade, it is basic access. People should not be punished just because they live in a flat or on a busy street.

Hundreds of soldiers descend on Parliament angry at 'witch hunt' plan that could drag British veterans of the Troubles to court. Shame on the government for allowing this fiasco.  mol.im/a/14905517 via dailym.ai/android

Appalling to see yet another collapse in standards. At tonights Mansion House dinner, where the Chancellor makes her annual speech to the city, the dress code was downgraded to business suits. Previously it was black tie and in the 1990s it was white tie and tails.

This beautiful farmland in Bedfordshire is at risk of being covered with 1,900 acres of solar panels - larger than 1,000 football pitches. This is wrong. Put solar panels on car parks, roofs or brownfield sites rather than on prime farmland.

The flagshaggers can cry all they want, voting at 16 is happening and long overdue, as is automatic registration. They’re just pissed off because foreign donations and political interference will stop. We urgently need social media regs too, to curb disinfo targeted at the young.

Imagine a beautiful and inexpensive carbon capture machine that can last for generations to capture solar energy and convert water, carbon dioxide and minerals into oxygen and store energy-rich organic compounds while also reducing surrounding temperatures and pollution? 🌳

Andrew Fisher The i Paper The most annoying part is this outcome was clear from its terms of reference and we have a bunch of big, well funded environmental NGOs to thank for helping government spin this trick on the public while the grass roots still try to save us from another 10 years of this scam
