Check out Guangmeimei Yang's first first author paper recently published to learn more about hydrogen evolution on Titanium oxynitrides and how it is affected by Nitrogen occupancy 🥳 …mistry-europe.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/cc…

We are recruiting! 🚨 PhD scholarship available at Imperial ChemEng to work with carbon materials, single atoms and electrochemical CO2 conversion with Magda Titirici and myself. Come join us! Spread the word 🙂 #chemjobs To apply 👇🏽 imperial.ac.uk/engineering/de…

👇🏻Our most recent study led by May-Yin (Ashlyn) Low now published. Focus on #directaircapture and #adsorption, trying to fill the gap in data and highlight key adsorbent properties.

We are really excited to kick-off the nanoGeConferences 2023 Fall MAT-SUS meeting with our symposium on ‘Solar fuels: Moving from materials to devices’ #DEVSF We’ve had amazing talks from Sixto Gimenez, Anja Bieberle-Hutter and Serhiy Cherevko! INAM UJI Serhiy Cherevko

Still accepting #chempostdoc applications till Nov 16 2023 for highly motivated expert in #compchem. Periodic #DFT simulations, #MachineLearning and/or #CrystalStructurePrediction (CSP) experience is a must. E-mail: [email protected] timeshighereducation.com/unijobs/listin… #jobs

My first time to present my PhD project at a conference nanoGeConferences really grateful for lots of useful feedback and advice!

👉ACS Editor's Choice - Great stuff by Romain Tort Ifan Stephens and all the other researchers and collaborators at Interfacial Electrochemistry Group !

Delighted to (finally) announce that I will be joining QMUL School of Engineering and Materials Science in January as a Lecturer in Green Energy and Sustainable Materials ☺️😌 🥳 I feel immensely lucky and privileged to have made it to this point, and excited for what’s to come next!

We are thrilled to be showcasing our work with Solar Coatings Group in ☀️ #Solar #EnergyResearch at the Energy Research Showcase today Energy Futures Lab . It’s so great to have feedback from visitors to our stall and to have useful discussions about reactor prototyping in the UK

Elucidating the Effect of Nitrogen Occupancy on the #HydrogenEvolutionReaction for a Series of Titanium Oxynitride Electrocatalysts by Ifan E. L. Stephens, Andreas Kafizas, and co-workers (Interfacial Electrochemistry Group, Solar Coatings Group). #OpenAccess onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/cc…

Was a privilege give a talk on "Making water the fuel of our future; developing 100 cm2 scale prototypes that use sunlight to convert water into clean hydrogen fuel" as part of the Pint of Science festival Pint of Science UK. A fantastic collaboration with the Anna Hankin group.

Out now in J Mater Chem A is our work on "Insights from experiment and machine learning for enhanced TiO2 coated glazing for photocatalytic NOx remediation", doi.org/10.1039/D4TA01… Fantastic work led by Zhi-Peng Lin in collaboration with the Ganose group at Imperial Chemistry.

Excited to share news of our publication in J. Mater. Chem A on "Mechanically and photoelectrochemically stable WO3 | BiVO4 | NiFeOOH photoanodes synthesised by a scalable chemical vapour deposition method". Fantastic work by George Creasey in the Anna Hankin group.
