Coláiste Choilm are proud to announce that the school is participating in the Jigsaw One Good School programme from 2021 to 2023. Jigsaw One Good School is an initiative that supports mental health & wellbeing of young people by developing a shared responsibility in the school.

It is with great sadness and deep regret that Coláiste Choilm has learned of the passing of Mr. Eoin Pól O’Ruis. Mr O’Ruis will be remembered for his passion, humour, creativity and his deep sense of care for all those around him. (part1)

As Director and Producer of the ‘Coláiste Choilm Musicals’ he created memories for generations of students in our school as well as students from Loreto College Swords, St. Finian’s Community College and Fingal Community College. (part 2)

On one of the saddest days in our schools history, we remember Pól whose calling as a teacher saw him give everything he had in order to make a difference to the young men before him. He lived his vocation, working long hours after school for the benefit of all students. (part3)

His legacy lives in the hearts and minds of those he inspired and mentored. We can never forget someone who gave us so much to remember and even more to be thankful of. Tonight, wherever this post finds you, we ask you to join us in a prayer for Mr. O’Ruis: (part4)

Dear Lord, In recalling so many happy memories with Mr. O’Ruis we give thanks for his life and his friendship and commend his gentle soul to you. In your mercy may he find a gentle rest and be now at peace. (part5)
