Lauren Ward (3rd yr) representing Colaiste Iognaid as part of the Connaught Team at the Tailteann Games in Carlow on Sat 21st June. She did a personal best and finished 7th over 300m and was also a member of the 4x300m relay team. Go Lauren!

NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!! Great news from ⁦Rowing Ireland⁩ National Championships this evening as Paul Schofield and Oisín O Conaire have won the Junior-18 2- Title. A bit of extra significance that the trophy is named after Fr. Eddie Diffley who was so pivotal to Jes Rowing!

At the Jes Rowing Club BBQ there was a very special blessing of a new boat named after the person blessing it, Fr. Murt Curry. Murt was recognised for his contribution to the Rowing Club, particularly for the development of girls’ rowing which he fought so hard for. #jesrowing
