Thanks to CDOT, county officials, and the hard work being put in by workers while the Middle Bridge over Blue Mesa is closed, Cottonwood Pass has opened today! Connecting Chaffee and Gunnison counties, this early opening is great news for the communities in these areas.

Travelled over Monarch Pass on Thursday on our way to Gunnison, and was able to stop at High Alpine Brewing while in town. Next time I know what I'm going to have to try!

Had a beautiful day yesterday in Paonia, doorknocking, visiting the community farmers market, and talking to folks! Did you know the name Paonia comes from the Latin word for peony, Paeonia? We got to see the beautiful namesake soaking up the spring rays all over town!

Today we celebrate Juneteenth and the Emancipation Proclamation reaching Galveston Bay, TX and the brave people who fought for freedom. We have made progress but we still have work to do, ensuring equality for every person in Colorado and across all communities in our country.

Today marks two years since Roe v. Wade was overturned. I am proud of Colorado for all we have done to protect reproductive choice. We have to continue to expand services and access to contraceptive care. I will fight for your right to choose as your next State Senator. #roevwade
