Our 3rd Annual Conference begins tomorrow, hosted by the brilliant Heidi Hurd and the Law & Philosophy program at Illinois College of Law. Stay tuned for live updates! 📢

Day 1️⃣ will focus on Emilia Mickiewicz , Anna Peters and Kara Woodbury-Smith’s papers. 💡From a fresh take on Wittgenstein on interpretation, the conundrum of overinclusive criminalisation, to the question of when coercion is justified, we will have plenty to discuss!

On day 2️⃣ we will turn to- 🏛️ Pía Macarena Chible Villadangos’s insightful paper on how the proper way to understand State Administration’s as agents is as *collective agents*, and 💒 Danielle Levitan’s paper on moral obligations owed by previously involved partners to each other post separation!

Our morning is off to a good start! We just finished discussing Emilia Mickiewicz’s “Formalism, Skepticism and Wittgenstein”, with comments by Barbara Levenbook.

The second session focused on Anna Peter’s “Duties to Criminalize Overinclusively” (Cambridge Legal Theory Discussion Group)

Cambridge Legal Theory Discussion Group And the final session of the first day, was on Kara Woodbury-Smith’s “Why Coerce?”
