MARTA Airport Station reopened today after a six-week closure to renovate the concourse and platform levels. The following work was completed during a temporary station closure from April 8 through May 19. Learn more: bit.ly/3UOS9Xt

MARTA has upgraded its digital passenger information for trains. Station screens and the MARTA On the Go app now display both live and scheduled train times at all stations. Live times are denoted by a new icon. Scheduled times reflect any special schedules for the current day.

Thanks to the City of Chamblee and artist Phil Proctor for getting this wonderful work of art, “Metaphysica,” placed right outside our station. Through Artbound, MARTA is proud to support public art because transit is about moving people, even when they’re standing still.

Today, was a beautiful day to cut the ribbon to the newest public art installation in Chamblee, Metaphysica! It was a pleasure to be joined by Collie Greenwood and MARTA , the artist Phil Proctor, Chamblee's Mayor and Council, and the Chamblee Public Arts Commission.

Happy 35th anniversary to Soccer in the Streets! For decades, they’ve been building Atlanta’s soccer community and helping kids learn through the beautiful game. Many thanks to Jacobs, HNTB, Greenberg Traurig, and others for their support of this wonderful organization.

We hosted a wonderful groundbreaking ceremony this morning for our new Clayton Operations & Maintenance Facility. This facility will support 400 jobs, increase operational efficiency, and help keep more than 300 buses on the road for our 10,000 daily customers in Clayton County.

It was an honor to recognize Ambassador Young for his lifetime of service and longtime commitment to MARTA. As it rolls throughout our communities, this MARTA bus will serve as a reminder that no matter the bumps in the road we encounter, we will always move forward.
