Following a short notice request, from Friday 28th April – Monday 1st May, RAF Benson will be supporting a detachment of 6 x Apache helicopters from 662 Squadron Army Air Corps (AAC) and 2 x Wildcat helicopters from 659 Squadron AAC.

Alongside their ceremonial role, the Squadron also provide specialist Counter Small Uncrewed Air Systems (C-sUAS) defence on global operations for Ministry of Defence 🇬🇧 . #WeEnable

28 Squadron recently graduated Chinook Long Course 62 from after a 7-month conversion course at RAF Benson. We wish them well for their careers on the Support Helicopter Front Line at RAF Odiham.

Our Puma’s in Brunei have commenced their support to @royalmarines on Exercise PACIFIC DAGGER. We provide medical evacuation cover for the duration of the Exercise, troops are tactically transported around the Jungle Training Areas by Puma to areas inaccessible by road.

Huge thanks to all the engineers and support staff from across the JHC who made today’s flypast work. Fantastic!
