Army General Service @LandRover_UK being put through their paces in #Oman during #KhanjarOman. The driver training course Comdt conducted in the austere and challenging desert environment of Ras Madrakah, has qualified #2SCOTS BG drivers for use on future tasks.

This is Boxer at 41 tonnes reversing up a 60% gradient, halting half way up and then continuing. Not sure how many other combat vehicles can do this.

Today DST team members supported civic leaders, veterans and organisations in commemorating the Hull Air raids which caused approx 1200 civilian deaths during WW2. Beautiful memorial at the mass grave of those killed in the peak of the raids 7-9 May 1941 unveiled today

My last post as Commandant, Defence School of Transport as I come to the end of my time in the role. Last Saturday DST hosted Ex Northern Strike, the RLC Mil Skills competition. GSM DST accompanied me round the course - what a way to bid farewell to DST - and my webbing!
